Our Live Performance as a Band
Our journey to the stage started with late-night rehearsals at our studio in ENSA Marrakech. Some nights, we stayed as late as 2 a.m., perfecting techniques and making sure every detail of our performance was just right.
We performed four songs during the event, each chosen to showcase our versatility and passion for music. We kicked things off with the classic Feeling Good by Nina Simone, setting a soulful tone. Next, we brought the energy up with Didi by Cheb Khaled, a North African hit that got the crowd moving. After that, we played the iconic Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles, which added a jazzy vibe to the mix. Finally, we ended with our own composition—a piece inspired by Essaouira’s Gnawa fusion, blending traditional and modern elements for a unique finish.
On stage, we gave it our all, and the connection between us as a band made the performance even more special. Every song felt like a shared moment with the audience, and their energy fueled us to keep giving our best.

The Audience and the Amazing Atmosphere
The audience was incredible and brought the whole event to life. From the very first note of our performance, the crowd was fully engaged—clapping, moving, and even dancing to our music. Their energy was contagious, and it felt like we were all sharing the same rhythm.
Each song seemed to strike a chord with them. Whether it was the powerful vocals of Feeling Good or the upbeat, familiar vibes of Didi, they were right there with us. By the time we played our Gnawa-inspired composition, the room was buzzing with excitement, and seeing them connect with our original work was a surreal moment.
The First Prizes
To win two first prizes did really feel like a dream that came true! Being acknowledged as the Best Band/Singer was the coolest thing ever and it clearly showed that all our hard work and passion we have put into our music have been worth it. It was not just about the award, it was also about our performance creating the bond between us and the audience and the judges.
Winning the second prize for Best Musical Instrument Player was an absolutely magnificent experience for our bandmate. The fact that the successful night was a result of hard work and immense talent & each note played vigorously was the hard work was obtained.
The time when they called our names out was the best feeling I have ever experienced. We were in unity, and jubilate as a band, as we bring out our best. We remember that this was not only during the performance but even on the way to it. These awards weren’t just trophies; they were reminders of why we do what we do and inspiration to keep growing as artists.
